Images Fine Art Gallery presents
Tracy Tam Sing

Born and raised on the slopes of Haleakala on the island of Maui, Tracy Tam Sing has been creating images of Hawai’i's ancient past through his modern art. Having studied Hawaiian Archaeology at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, he has combined his love for art with his career in archaeology.  Tracy has worked as a archaeologist in Hawai’i for the past 18 years, and has conducted archaeological field work on seven of the eight major Hawaiian Islands. Tracy’s work experience has enabled him to travel to some of Hawai’i's earliest known archaeological sites.  Through his recording of ancient Hawai’i, he has come to find a proud sense of appreciation of his cultural past.  Tracy wishes to share his passion of Hawaiian art with others through his unique and modern art.  His images are complimented by his use or rich earthy tones.  The actual ancient Hawaiian petroglyph images depicted in his works can still be seen on boulders, cliff faces, and lava fields throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
